Today is my wife’s Birthday.

As usual, we went for a hike, it was a beautiful day in Marin County.

I was thinking about another birthday, a few years back, when we did the same thing. We went to lunch in San Francisco with friends, then drove across the Golden Gate Bridge for a hike. We saw these adorable triplets sitting  at a picnic table, and I was fortunate enough to take this picture.

We walked the trail for awhile, and, as we approached this bench, I said, “I think I see a Diane Arbus moment”.

This was a good day.
